Schelesia,

I appreciate the comments and the fact that you are reading my other posts. I'm sure that I will write others that will get your interest as well. However, I am not writing this blog in order to take a political stand. I'm just an average guy struggling to pay my bills just like a lot of people. Sometimes when I read something or see something on the news that gets my goat, I feel that I have to say something. I also send letters to my representatives and the local newspaper and sometimes I get canned responses. I think the problem is that so many people feel that their opinion means nothing and therefore do nothing. If my blog gets you and others to take action then maybe we will get enough attention to make some changes. When I bought my initial web sites I needed a way to get the word out and the blog seemed like a fun way to do that. I still feel that way but also hope that at the same time I'm being informative and entertaining. So in the interest of getting folks to take a stand, stay tuned for my next posting in a couple of days.

P.S. The comment you saw saying I should run for office was from one of my biggest fans, my sister.

Fantastic letter Tom,
I so appreciate what you are doing and would like more information posted on how the citizens of this United States can band together to make our voices heard. I posted the below information on another of your tell me about that sites. Thank you again and keep up the great work.

Here's something else to think about:
Ford has spent the last thirty years moving most of its factories out of the
US , claiming they can't make money paying American wages.

TOYOTA has spent the last thirty years building more than a dozen plants
Inside the US . The last quarter's results:

TOYOTA makes 4 billion in profits while Ford racked up 9 billion in losses.

Ford folks are still scratching their heads.

My husband spent 2 hrs on the phone calling Doug Spade's office, Carl Levin’s office, Debbie Stabinow’s office and several others to voice his opinion and got this response “we are inundated with calls and are unable to take each person’s information and we must limit the time we spend on the phone with each caller” he was apalled. We have had all our emails rejected from Government servers with a response of “due to the overwhelming number of emails our server is receiving we are forced to reject email at this time” and snail mail I have been told by several government mail room workers is never even opened, its shredded. So how are we to voice our demands to our government when no one is listening?

Well I think we should. I've sent similar leters to my State Congress and Fox News. You can go to www.senate.gov to locate and contct your state Senator. Someone has calculated that the $700 Billion could give every household in the U.S. $427,000. Can you imagine what that would do to boost the economy?
